Judging

Hatch Awards judges are selected from around the U.S. and Canada by the Hatch Steering Committee. No member of the Committee and no employee of any communications agency in New England will participate in the judging, nor will there be any pre-selection of material for the judges.

This is a regional show, with national standards. The body of work will be judged against itself, with the goal of recognizing New England’s best efforts in delivering big ideas.

Gold, Silver, Bronze and Distinctive Merit Awards will be given to those entries which the judges feel deserve them. One bowl must be awarded in each category, though it does not have to be a Gold. “Best of Show” will be awarded to that entry which the judges feel distinguishes itself above all others.
